Sugarboo Limited & The Cotswold Lounge

In April 2022 Award winning cake artist & designer, Lyanda Alder opened the doors to her first Sugarboo cake studio based in the beautiful Cotswolds village of Milton-Under-Wychwood. With an open kitchen for all our visitors to observe the 'back of house' creativity that goes in to every cake & bake, it soon became the go to place for sweet treats & extraordinary cakes.

With the introduction of a vintage events wagon, home baking classes & an ever expanding portfolio of clients, it soon became clear that Sugarboo had much, much more to offer.

So in March 2024, with a huge dose of determination & a deep breath, Lyanda along with her husband Sebastian took

the leap of faith their clientele had been waiting for & opened the doors to their first concept coffee shop just a few minutes up the road in the lovely Shipton-Under-Wychwood.

Never sticking to the conventional, Lyanda & Seb did not want to leave the villages & were reluctant to go 'high-street', instead they created an inviting & cosy space out of a 2000 sq ft ex glass room on a tucked away industrial state.

The charm of 'The Cotswold Lounge' is very much in it's format...the furnishings are all second hand & upcycled, the fixtures & fittings bespoke & industrial, the food & drink local & hand baked/cooked, the vibe...

wonderfully chilled & relaxed.

The Cotswold Lounge has become a local hub for both families & local companies to work, relax & play.

With a tasty daytime, evening & takeaway menu, fully stocked licenced bar & a packed, weekly events calendar, this hidden Cotswold gem is definitely not to be missed.
